This is a deposit booking for 5 whole processed and ice chilled 4 pound broilers picked up at the farm and ready for you to take home and freeze or cut up and freeze the way you want them in March 2012. A deposit of $28.00 now and $25.00 when you pick up your chicken at the farm. Order as many increments of 5 that you like The price is $2.50 per pound. $10.00 per chicken. $3.00 goes to VCM. You will come to the farm and pick up your five chickens and be able to see how your chickens are raised and all the other things going on at the farm. This saves you $1.00 per pound off the town price, and lets us raise more chickens for you! Chickens are raised on pasture in Chicken Tractors, moving daily to new grass. They are fed a source verified and locally milled whole grain ration supplemented with Sea Kelp. These chicken get fresh air, good sunshine and fresh grass all day long! Approx. 35% of their daily intake is from grass and bugs. These are fresh whole chickens picked up at the farm and are weighing a average of 4 lbs.

What can I say? They are the best tasteing hot dog out there.They are 100% real beef from our heird of Naturaly raised, Angus cattle, Grass Fed, Spring watered. This beef is pasture raised and grass fed until it reaches a size suitable for processing. If a person wishes a side the animal would be processed under U.S.D.A. inspection (which costs a little more) so I could have the other half processed for individual cut sales. Your cost will be based upon the hot rail weight of the half, times the price per pound. An estimate will be made as to the weight of the animal and you will be informed of that before the animal is taken to the processor. This beef sausage is made by Garners meat processors using our grass fed (pasture raised) beef.

Oh yeah… check out the picture. I actually cooked that! Buffalo roasts are becoming one of my favorite foods because they’re so easy to prepare and oh-so-good! I throw mine in a crock pot with some pineapple/apple juice and water, onion, carrots, and potatoes and turn it on low when I go to sleep at night. By the morning… well, let’s just say that I can’t resist eating roast for breakfast! No knife required for this meat! In fact, have a spoon ready. It's so tender, it'll slip through your fork! I’d guesstimate that one of the roasts would feed approximately 4 adults, or one L.C. Ratchford for three meals in one day!

Well, don’t plan on making any gravy with the grease drippings from this breakfast sausage, because there won’t be any! Remember… buffalo is so much leaner than beef and pork that you won’t have any grease when preparing this breakfast sausage. If there’s anything bad to say about buffalo, it’s that it can get dry because there’s very little fat in it. (And we don’t add any because we want to keep it natural.) Just be sure not to overcook it. When cooking any buffalo product for the first time, check it regularly to remove it from heat at exactly the right time.
